‘The Bulldog’ is quickly making a name for himself in the world of darts, qualifying for the UK Open and winning a week at the MODUS Super Series all before his 18th birthday! Banks’ first set of signature Mission darts are made from 90% tungsten and feature a black PVD coating across the entire barrel. This straight barrel dart has a smooth bull nose at the front leading to a long section of radial grooves and horizontal silver milled cuts. The rear of the barrel has a small smooth section with a laser-etched Mission logo and is complete with black points, black Mission Sabre shafts and Banks’ signature flights

On Point verdict

Banks is worth a closer look if you want a straight, centre-weighted barrel with a long section of rings and horizontal milling. We’d choose it for that textured contact area, while noting the smooth bull nose and small plain rear section. Check which surface meets each finger before choosing the black-coated finish.
