A classic ring grip in the rear provides a secure hold, while the front of the barrel combines ring grip with axial grip for extra stability. Stingray ST3 is worth considering if you want different contact patterns at the front and rear, with a tapered profile and front-loaded balance. This version uses pressed finger-grip points rather than the older B5 threaded fitting. Check replacement points against this version before ordering spares.

Point fitting
