On Point verdict

Chameleon Allira is a useful option if you prefer a straight, centre-weighted barrel with ring grip and want a rainbow finish. We’d focus on the ring pattern and barrel proportions before choosing for the coating. It is a more relevant comparison for an existing straight-barrel player than for someone seeking a defined scalloped hold.

Point fitting

Check the original fitting before replacing points. Standard press-fit points require suitable repointing equipment; do not use threaded Swiss, Quick Point or EVO replacements. Read the point compatibility guide.
