On Point verdict

DOT D1 is a sensible comparison for players who prefer a straight, centre-weighted barrel with a mixture of rings, milling and razor detail. The different cuts make finger placement worth considering carefully. Choose it if those contact areas match the texture you like in your normal hold.

Point fitting

Check the original fitting before replacing points. Standard press-fit points require suitable repointing equipment; do not use threaded Swiss, Quick Point or EVO replacements. Read the point compatibility guide.
