Datadart Black Prism – Produced to enhance our ‘Black’ Range. The prism is produced in the same shape as the regular ‘Black’ ringed Darts, but with added cuts and grooves giving an excellent grip and appearance.
The Black Prism has been manufactured using cutting-edge technology. Featuring a matt black titanium coating over 90% tungsten, the darts have been re-machined to show the natural tungsten and added vertical grooves along the length of the barrel. Laser-etched with the Datadart logo
On Point verdict
Black Prism is worth shortlisting if you prefer a straight barrel with a front-loaded balance and a pronounced grip. Its axial, ringed and milled cuts offer more varied texture than a simple ring pattern. Check the contact zones carefully if you tend to grip lightly or dislike deep machining.
Point fitting
Check the original fitting before replacing points. Standard press-fit points require suitable repointing equipment; do not use threaded Swiss, Quick Point or EVO replacements. Read the point compatibility guide.
