GOAT 8-Ball steel tip darts use 90% tungsten barrels with a billiards-inspired design. The scalloped barrels have a ringed grip and centre-weighted balance.

On Point verdict

8-Ball is worth a look if you like a defined scallop, centre weighting and a lighter ringed grip. The recessed section is the useful physical reference behind the billiards styling. Choose it if that location already fits your hold rather than trying to adapt your fingers to the design.

Point fitting

Check the original fitting before replacing points. Standard press-fit points require suitable repointing equipment; do not use threaded Swiss, Quick Point or EVO replacements. Read the point compatibility guide.
