George Nishitani's model, the 5th generation "RAPTOR GEN-5" has a significantly renewed outline and specifications, and is now a torpedo style with a structure that makes it easy to determine the grip position.

Shark cuts of uniform pitch are placed in the main groove to generate stable propulsion.

In addition, the spiral groove that imitates the claw marks of a raptor delicately controls the rotation of the barrel. A new product has been completed in response to the requests and style of George Nishitani

On Point verdict

Raptor G5 is worth considering for its combination of shark cuts and a spiral groove. Those two patterns give you distinct contact details to compare if simple rings feel too uniform. Pay particular attention to where the spiral crosses your grip, rather than choosing it on the decorative claw-mark theme alone.
